We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Housekeeper.Your role is to assist the Housekeeper in supporting the overall care and wellbeing of the pupils whilst in house. Your main responsibility will be to maintain a high level of cleanliness through the completion of daily cleaning schedules, supporting with laundry duties and generally assisting the Housekeeper with the smooth running of the boarding house.You will also provide cover for the Housekeeper one day a week which involves taking overall responsibility for the domestic duties of the boarding house on that day.You will need to have experience in a domestic services environment as well as having experience working as part of a team. You must be able to demonstrate high standards and show that you can communicate with a wide range of people including pupils, staff and parents.   All boarding house staff with responsibility for pupil care and wellbeing in Scotland are required to have professional registration. For this appointment, the successful applicant will be required to have, or be capable of, registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and undertake the necessary training and professional development to maintain their registration.
