We are currently working with a global logistics company specialising in cargo logistics, port terminal operations, maritime services. They are looking for a Sustainability Manager covering Europe based out of their regional head office in London. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing various sustainability projects across Europe, covering any projects that contribute towards their European sustainability strategy.
The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for:
* Initiating, managing and tracking the successful delivery of sustainability projects across Europe against the strategy.
* Liaise and support Group and Regional HSSE with the decarbonization strategy
* Manage the sustainability project budget and keep track of spending, identifying areas for efficiency or investment as needed.
* Manage partnerships at a local and regional level. Support global partnerships led by the Group Sustainability team and ensuring their successful delivery in Europe.
The Sustainability Manager will have:
* A strong passion for, and understanding of, sustainability issues, with specifically demonstrated experience in GHG emissions reporting/PCAF/GHG Protocol, SBTi requirements, decarbonisation target setting/ net zero strategy setting.
* Data analysis and visualisation skills, comfortable working with large sets of data.
* Strategic thinking with the ability to analyse and simplify complex data and make connections to organisational objectives.
* Carbon literacy or emissions accounting qualification for example LCA
