Are you an experienced HGV driver? Do you have a passion for the road and delivering quality service? Ready to join a leading player in the timber industry We are currently looking for a dynamic Class 2 HGV Driver to join our bustling team in Shellingford!
As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be the face of Timbmet, delivering our top-quality timber products across England and Wales. On a typical day, you will handle an average of 6-8 drops, ensuring the safety and security of loads while performing curtain pulling and securing tasks. Manual handling is a part of the role, and you will also be responsible for checking paperwork and providing excellent customer interaction. One night out per week is a standard.
Hours of Work: Average 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends, 1 night shift required per week
Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 licence with no previous disqualifications
* 2 years relevant driving experience (26 tonne vehicles)
* Fully CPC qualified
* Must be physically active due to manual handling
* Multi-drop experience would be advantageous
* Excellent communication skills
