Registered Manager (Childrens Home)
Location: Chellaston, Derbyshire
Salary: £40k - £45k + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday
The Client:
Our client is a renowned provider of childrens homes, committed to empowering and supporting the emotional well-being of vulnerable children and young people.
The Role:
As a Registered Manager, you will oversee the setup and running of a new childrens home, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
Duties:
- Manage daily operations in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff.
- Model best practices during challenging behaviours.
- Register as a Manager with OFSTED and collaborate with senior management.
- Serve as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with LD, complex needs, or mental health issues.
- At least 2 years of recent experience in residential care provision.
- Minimum 2 years of care management/supervision experience.
- Familiarity with Ofsteds 9 Quality Standards.
- Willingness to undergo OFSTED registration and inspection processes.
