Dean Close St. John’s School are looking to appoint a Minibus Driver for our school. This role is a part time position, working 15 hours per week during term time, and ideally starting in September 2024.The role and responsibilities of this position are to include: To collect pupils from the designated pick-up points enroute to the school at the agreed times (6.30 - 8.00 and 16.30 - 18.00 daily). To carry out and record daily checks and when replacements and/or repairs are required to ensure that these are highlighted to the Estates Foreman. Carry out non-safety related repairs to ensure minimum downtime. To ensure minibuses are kept in clean condition and external image presented is in keeping with the status of the school.All applications should ideally have a clean driving License, with a D1 or PCV, and a basic First Aid qualification, or willing to undertake one.Early applications are encouraged, and applicants may be invited to interview prior to the closing date.
