We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Community Development Worker to join our vibrant team in Buckinghamshire!

As a Community Development Worker, you will be working from home with regular travel across Buckinghamshire. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting advocacy drop-ins, facilitating advocacy groups, and providing training to empower individuals to advocate for themselves. You will also be responsible for fostering a team of volunteers to support these initiatives. Promotion of POhWER's mission to assist vulnerable adults with multiple needs is a key part of this role, along with developing strong relationships and community engagement.

Hours of Work: Part time: 14.8 hours per week, 2 days a week working between Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (days of work to be discussed at interview).

Location: Home based with travel across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area. (Applicants must live within the area; have a full driver's licence and access to their own transport )

Community Development Worker Requirements:

* Proven track record in building and nurturing relationships.
* Experience in community engagement and advocacy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of public and voluntary organisations.
* Full driver's licence and access to own transport (essential due to travel requirements).
