Situated on the beautiful Moray Coast in the North of Scotland, Gordonstoun is widely recognised as the world leader in character education.  We have a co-educational community of over 500 students aged from 6-18, who are predominantly full boarding and are drawn from over 40 countries.   We are looking for an inspiring classroom practitioner who is keen to play an active role in boarding school life, whether in the classroom, in the mountains or in the middle of the Moray Firth. We are looking for an inspirational full or part time Learning Support teacher to join this dynamic and forward-looking team. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is passionate about working with students who are eager to learn. You will have experience of teaching students on a one to one or small group basis. All candidates should be registered or eligible for registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland, as this is a condition of employment. The post is suitable for an ambitious NQT or Probationer, or a more experienced teacher. Gordonstoun is striving to build a team that is truly inclusive. • A full PVG check will be completed on the successful candidate

**Qualifications Required**

• Further academic or broader curriculum qualifications.
• Already registered with the GTCS.
• Good first degree in a relevant discipline
• Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent in secondary education.
• Meets requirements to register with the GTCS.
• Experience of learning support in a primary or secondary school.
• Significant and relevant breath of experience in learning support.
• Specific qualifications or skills relating to one or more areas of the broader curriculum programme.
