A day in the life of... A Senior UX Designer, you’ll spend your time doing so much more than sitting! Here are just a few of the things you’ll be getting up to:


Leading end to end UX design process: including research, journey mapping, wireframing and prototyping, along with user testing to create compelling user experiences with captivating and intuitive interfaces
Navigating through complex challenges with cross functional teams, updating experiences into intuitive, simple solutions
Utilising insight from Google Analytics and other software such as Content Square, alongside qualitative research tools such as User Zoom to influence designs, identify opportunities and validate solutions
Presenting ideas and concepts to stakeholders; articulating design decisions effectively, anticipating feedback and providing rationale
Working collaboratively with our development and creative teams to ensure all of our solutions are fast, accessible and both driven by, and validated by, our customers
Proactively explore new ideas on how to improve the customer journey throughout the website and seek to implement meaningful improvements to process and efficiency savings
Coaching and mentoring team members

In an ideal world... Our ideal candidate for the Senior UX designer role possesses extensive experience in eCommerce UX, particularly within businesses with a strong brand presence. They should be adept in Figma and other design tools, demonstrating a proactive approach in driving industry trends forward. Their skill set should include proficiency in user research, testing, and requirements gathering, along with a solid understanding of responsive design and CMS platforms like Bloomreach. Additionally, they should excel in UI design, possess strong technical skills including CSS, and exhibit a high level of creativity with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
