What is the job role?

This is a unique opportunity to join us in our Horizon team as a Team Manager and be instrumental in leading a motivated team, implementing quality assurance as standard. Being creative will assist you to deliver the best possible services and outcomes for our families. 

Horizon is a multi-agency team which provides support to children and young people who are at risk of or experiencing exploitation. Social Workers within the team have a protected case load to ensure interventions are provided to young people to reduce risk and develop robust safety planning.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). 
Who are we looking for?We are seeking a reflective Team Manager with a proven ability to lead and develop Social Workers.

You will be an enthusiastic and culturally competent leader that can lead, transform and develop the service area to maximise service delivery and optimise performance.  

You will be committed and passionate about practice, sharing learning and knowledge and developing others. You will have a solid understanding of and be an advocate for the principles of diversity and inclusion in relation to workplace culture and service delivery.
