Your new role…This role will help define the direction of our omni-channel customer journey, and ensure we deliver the best digital experiences to our customers. You will be responsible for designing and improving the experience that every Sofology customer has across all our digital channels. A day in the life of… Our Digital Designers, , you’ll spend your time doing so much more than designing!! Here are just a few of the things you’ll be getting up to:Create beautifully engaging design work across digital and social channelsEnsure consistency of design across all company platforms, embedding a consistent, efficientApproach agreed style sheets for web and emailUnderstand traditional design and marketing fundamentalsCollaborate effectively with the wider web team to ensure the smooth implementation of allDesign work into pixel-perfect build in web and emailProvide all assets to relevant requirements and specification ensuring that all designs align with the brand identityMaximise the potential of our web and email platformsTransform wireframes into intuitive user interfacesWork with our UX team to collaborate on CX journey challenges, problem solve and propose solutions to improveDesign and deliver digital assets for campaign paid media such as digital display/other new digital media formatsContinually keep yourself updated with the latest changes in industry standardsSupport the Design and Production team on delivery of other work including our social channelsBe a great team player - ability to collaborate closely with team members and key stakeholdersIn an ideal world… You don’t need to have extensive experience working in an online retailer, but we’d love to bring on board a digital designer that has previous experience producing content for CMS, a strong understanding of UI design and technical skills within a commercial environment.
