The Company

Our client is a marketing leading EPC business in the engineering sector who deliver projects across the drinks, food and pharmaceutical sectors. The business is a huge success story having grown from a �25 million to in excess of �100 million in the last several years seeing the company grow from 125 staff to in excess of 300.

The business offers a full turnkey solution to their customer base from concept design of project, procurement of equipment through to integration and commissioning of the project at customer site.

The business has a huge opportunity to expand their Service & Aftersales division due to increasing customer demand for services with a business plan in place to grow the division from �3 million to �10 million in the next few years.

The key services on offer include spares provision, on site maintenance and repair of installed equipment and remote support on systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a Service Management or Aftersales Management type background to come in, take the department forward from a blank canvass and to build the division to be an integral part of the business.

The Role

The Head of Service & Aftersales will be responsible for defining the service and aftersales offerings the business has, leading and managing the existing team in place and driving the growth of the division. The business has ambitious plans for the aftersales division to grow from �3 million to �10 million in the next few years

The key focuses for the role will be:

* Formulation of the services in place for service and aftersales - defining the organisational structure, defining best practices and how the services should be sold, determining spares offering and development of appropriate KPIs for the division.
* Creating framework agreements for service and aftermarket offerings for customers ranging from monthly service charge agreements through to 1-3 year service and spares plans.
* Raising the profile of the service and aftermarket services across the business - meetings with the senior leadership team, creating tangible objectives that need to happen to create awareness and demand.
* Designing tailored aftermarket service packages for larger customers - this could involve bespoke follow up services the business doesn't currently offer and ascertaining how these could be delivered.
* Creating the plan for growth - taking the lead on discussing the service and aftermarket offerings with customers.
* Presenting service and aftersales offerings to customers to showcase their benefits and to create demand for the services.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this Head of Service & Aftersales you will need:

* Experience in a Service Management or Aftersales Management type position.
* To have come from an engineering, M&E or B2B type aftersales, service or aftermarket role.
* To be someone who can build credibility with customers.
* To have the appetite and aspiration to lead the growth of the Service and Aftersales division of the business.
* To be a strong leader who can inspire others.
* To be someone who can shape processes, systems and drive excellent standards across a team.
