Chartered Accountant (Accountancy firm)
Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex (Hybrid)
Salary: £40k - £50k + Excellent Benefits
Full Time / Part Time, Permanent,Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
The Client:
Our client is a reputable accountancy firm, specialising in personal & corporation tax returns, VAT returns, payroll and bookkeeping.
The Role:
As a Chartered Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in preparing and filing personal tax returns.
Responsibilities:
- Compile accounts for limited companies.
- Complete Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Manage multiple deadlines efficiently.
- Mentor junior staff members.
- Process client payrolls.
- Review work completed by bookkeepers.
- Oversee a portfolio of clients.
- Maintain communication with clients regarding their financial performance.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting practice.
- Possess ACA qualification.
- Skilled in Xero, QuickBooks would be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
