Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with a recycling and waste services management company. They are currently looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor who has experience working within an operational environment.
The Health & Safety Advisor role comes with a starting salary of up to �40,000 as well as other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
� Continuously and proactively evaluate the Group's operations from a Health and Safety standpoint, recommending effective risk management and elimination systems.
� Participate in regular SHEQ meetings across all business areas, leading all Health and Safety discussions.
� Ensure the Group meets its legal Health and Safety obligations, advising Directors, SMT, and Managers of their responsibilities, and monitoring compliance.
� Report on the Group's Health and Safety obligations, including accidents, incidents, near misses, and Improvement Opportunities.
� Conduct regular Health and Safety inspections of facilities, providing detailed reports to relevant managers.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* NEBOSH
� Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Health and Safety practitioner.
Personal skills
The Health & Safety advisor role would suit someone who is/has:
� Experience of management systems and achieving third party certification to a recognised standard such as ISO 45001.
� Experience of dealing with external enforcing bodies such as HSE, Environmental Health, Local Authorities.
� Proactive
Salary and benefits of the Project Quality Manager role
* A salary of up to �40,000
* 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days after 2 years and 30 days after 5 years’ service.
