We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Independent Advocate to join our vibrant team in Lewes and the surrounding areas.
As an Independent Advocate, you will provide crucial support to vulnerable adults facing significant health and social care challenges. You'll deliver persuasive verbal and written representations on their behalf, collaborate with public and voluntary organisations, and take directed actions to address clients' issues. This role demands a flexible attitude, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidently. Additionally, we provide a full induction and training schedule along providing you with a IAP (Independent Advocacy Qualification) .
Hours of Work: Part-time: 2x 29.6 hours 4 days per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5 pm (5 days per week would also be considered.)
Location: Home based with travel across Lewes and the surrounding area. (Applicants must live within the area; have a full driver's licence and access to their own transport )

Independent Advocate Requirements:
* Previous experience in advocacy, information and advice, or a similar role, ideally within health, social care, or the voluntary sector is desirable.
* Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults.
* Working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* Proficiency in computer literacy.
* A full driver's licence and access to your own transport.

* Competitive salary of �23,088.00 - �23,292.00 per annum (dependent on experience).
