About the Role

Responsibilities
As an HLTA, you will:
* Support Teaching and Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, providing support to the class teacher and leading small group sessions.
* Deliver Interventions: Implement targeted intervention programs to support pupils with specific learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Assess and Monitor Progress: Assist in the assessment of pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
* Manage Classroom Activities: Take responsibility for managing classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
* Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and school leaders to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
* Engage with Parents and Carers: Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in the learning process.
* Commit to Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant Qualifications: A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, with extensive experience in a primary school setting.
* Experience: Proven experience working as a teaching assistant, with a strong track record of supporting pupils' learning and development.
* Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
* Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic school environment.
