Astute’s Renewables team is partnering a leading producer of biogas in the UK, to recruit a Shift Team Leader for its Nottingham site, to manage a shift team to optimise production output, maintenance, and safety across the site.
The Shift Team Leader role comes with a salary up to �45,000 company benefits and excellent training and development.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Site Manager you will:
* Deliver best practise, plant performance and operating effectiveness. Specifically looking at compliance, availability, efficiency, and reliability.
* Assist the site manager with team recruitment.
* Promote a high performance culture, assessing KPIs and accountability.
* Drive innovation, technically and through innovation, to increase plant performance.
* Report KPIs and performance to senior management.
* Ensure delivery KPIs are achieved.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Level 3 engineering qualification in engineering discipline.
* Maintenance and operational knowledge within a process industry.
Personal skills
The Shift Team Leader role would suit someone who is:
* Exhibits supervisor/ team leader skills.
* Project management skills.
* Decisive decision making
* Management of SHEQ
Salary and benefits of the Shift Team Leader role:
* Salary between �42,000- �45,000
