We currently have an opportunities for Kitchen Porters to join our amazing team at Preston North End Football Club

With the opportunity to work at Matchdays and Non-Matchday Events, this is a great opportunity for driven individuals to succeed in a fast and innovative Hospitality Venue.

We are looking for outstanding customer focused individuals to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Deepdale is a prestigious footballing venue, home to Preston North End and steeped in history. The Lilywhites' home ground holds the privileged title of being the oldest professional footballing site in the world in continuous use.

Whilst many sides have shifted about from spot to spot in their short or long term history, Preston North End have remained loyal to the piece of turf in PR1, making it their home since 21st January 1875 when the club's members first took out a lease on the plot of land.

In 2004, the famous ‘The Splash’ statue was built to honour Sit Tom Finney, the club’s most famous former player, which now sits proudly outside of ‘The Gentry Bar’, PNE’s new fan zone.

 Matchdays and Non-Matchday Events - evening and weekend shifts 

Opportunity to work at other Sodexo Live! sites. 

 
Main Responsibilities
To ensure the cleanliness of the Kitchen
Visual hazard check of kitchen
To clean equipment, utensils, crockery, and glass throughout and after service
Correct disposal of rubbish
Cleaning / tidying of kitchen throughout and after service
Correct chemicals are used for cleaning purposes following COSHH guidelines
Correct PPE is worn throughout shift, full uniform blue trousers & Tops, safety shoes must be worn at all times
Kitchen cleanse is to the standard of EHO requirements
Broken / malfunction equipment to be reported to the Supervisor immediately 

The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working in a kitchen
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A flexible “can do” attitude
The ability to multi-task within a fast paced environment
