As an Academic & Student Services Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the administration of the student academic life cycle at ARU College. You'll support the Director of Academic & Student Services in implementing a range of student support services, ensuring smooth operations in student records, assessment, timetabling, finance, and more. Your initiative, accuracy, and adherence to policies will be critical in maintaining high standards across all functions. You will be crucial in maintaining and supporting student record systems in compliance with data protection requirements. Your responsibilities include conducting regular audits, supporting assessment activities to meet university quality expectations, assisting with timetabling queries, managing student finance, ensuring accurate records of financial status, and actively contributing to student experience and wellbeing programmes. Additionally, you will assist in maximising the number of applicants converted to registered students, supporting orientation programmes, and participating in events to support student recruitment and experience.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 11 month Fixed- Term Contract.
Academic & Student Services Officer Requirements:
* Degree in Business, or at least two years of relevant industry experience.
* Experience in a busy customer-oriented environment.
* Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of cultural and educational backgrounds.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a cross-functional team.
