Reporting into the Managing Director with the opportunity to lead SHEQ at this bulk liquids import and storage facility. This is a stand-alone SHEQ position for the business where you will work closely with the company leadership team with good opportunity to influence and make your mark on the business.
The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for:
* Developing, refining and implementing HSEQ processes, systems and procedures.
* Chairing regular COMAH Management meetings
* Maintaining and actioning the tracking system and ensuring the Site Safety Report is maintained as a "live" document.
* Auditing and monitoring permits including: excavation, hot work, confined space entry, lock off integrity and leading the site in permit compliance continuous improvement.
The SHEQ Manager will have:
* Health & Safety experience in a COMAH environment.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Ability to communicate effectively and influence at all levels
* Minimum five years' Health & Safety experience.
