We are creating a progressive, creative, energetic and inspiring Service that is best equipped to understand and reduce offending behaviour amongst children and we are looking for the right people to help us to achieve this.An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right individuals to join Birmingham Youth Offending Service as a Team Manager.The Role As a Team Manager within Birmingham YOS, you will play a crucial role in leading an area team and supporting the wider service to develop and strengthen sector leading performance and quality, ensuring appropriate support is put in place to address any concerns and that staff are effectively engaging, assessing and managing risks posed to and from our Birmingham children. This is a service committed to a child first, trauma responsive and strengths-based approach with our children and as a Team Manager you will play an important role in the promotion of this you. You will also be responsible for ensuring your team is working with families, Carers and victims and one key role for you will be to ensure children are safeguard and victim are protected promote and safeguard children’s welfare, taking responsibility for the implementation of legislation, policies and procedures within the team.
