We are currently looking for an experienced Concrete Laboratory Technician to join our friendly team in Lutterworth.

Main ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Concrete Laboratory Technician you will be responsible for:
Managing allocated projects within agreed timescales
VAP mix design, raw material evaluation and optimisation
Supporting Technical teams in optimising and delivering products into the regions
Assisting as required with release and role-out of new products
Ensuring that the Laboratory, and related working environments and equipment, are correctly maintained and safe
Assisting with Risk Assessment and effective Safe Systems of Work
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for the role of Concrete Laboratory Technician will have experience of:
ICT Certificate in Concrete Technology & Construction General Principles, and Practical Applications (Levels 2 and 3), (desirable)
Supervisory experience in a laboratory environment
Product R & D experience
Experience in readymix field product support
Good basic knowledge of readymix products, applications, and constituent materials
Ability to optimise conventional and VAP readymix products
