We are currently recruiting for a Talent Development Practitioner to join our team.

The role will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our colleagues. Reporting to the Head of Talent Development, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to assess needs, design, implement, deliver and evaluate learning programs and initiatives that support the organisation's strategic objectives. Additionally, you will act as a trusted advisor to line managers providing expertise on learning and development strategies to enhance colleagues’ skills, capabilities, and overall performance.

Main duties and responsibilities:


Lead and mentor a team of Regional Trainers, providing guidance, support and training to drive performance and achieve training goals.
Co-develop and implement a ‘Career Coach’ programme, working with colleagues to identify career goals, explore career options, and develop strategies to achieve career success. You will work closely with colleagues to provide personalised guidance and support throughout their career development journey.
Identify new and innovative learning and development programmes, delivery methods and initiatives to ensure we are delivering best in class programmes.

 Support the development and implementation of an inclusive Talent Development strategy that supports our mission to maximise colleague potential.

Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (ie CQC, CIW, Ofsted).
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning programmes and initiatives.
Continuously assess and improve learning solutions based on feedback, industry trends, and organisational needs.


 

The ideal candidate:


AET Level 3 or equivalent (Essential)
Have a full clean UK drivers License (Essential)


 


Experience of training delivery and design in a learning and development setting.
Understanding of applicable sector-based regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Strong people management and effective leadership skills that drive for performance.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint) and experience of using training software and tools (e.g. Access LMS).


 

In addition we are looking for candidates with experience or qualifications in any of the following areas:


CIPD Qualified
Leadership & Management Training / Qualification
Talent Assessment & Succession Planning
Psychometric Assessments (or willing to learn)
