Southfields Care home provides exceptional levels of support to adults with Dementia, Physical disabilities or /and Sensory impairments.

Situated in a residential suburb in Northampton, offering a wonderful living environment in which our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

Our team of 40 provide the highest level of care to 33 residents.

What will you be doing?Supporting the Care Home manager,


Acting as a key worker for designated residents. Ensuring they are supported in all aspects of their life, along with a peer.
Monitoring and administering medication, personal care and as directed by their individual care plan, help maintain health and wellbeing.
Ensure all administration tasks are carried out with accuracy. Inputting additional information onto care plans, as required.
Liaising with health care professionals.
You are not responsible for managing the team. As you will be supporting and delegating the workload to team members accordingly and ensuring that any issues are documented, dealt with and monitored as they arise.
1st point of contact for safety or security concerns.


35 hours a week, rotating shifts to include 7.45am - 2.45pm / 2.45pm - 9.45pm with alternative weekends. 

 
About youYou may be a senior carer looking for the next move or a current Shift lead wishing to gain more experience to develop yourself in the future. 

With your previous experience in care leadership, and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (ideal), you'll join our team in making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

We will offer 2.5 weeks induction training and a further 2-4 weeks "Buddy scheme" too. We will settle you in, there's no pressure to "hit the ground running"!
