Sodexo Live! has an exceptional opportunity for a talented, highly experienced Operations Director to  lead and manage our operations team at the Fulham Pier.The Fulham Pier will become the heart of the community and the standard bearer for indulgent experiences, which will attract both Londoner’s and tourist from all over the world and you will be responsible for the dining experience of each of the pier’s restaurants!As Operations Director, you will be responsible for maximizing profitability and delivering results across the accounts, developing and leading a high-performing team, and working with the Venue Director to  develop a business strategy and identify growth opportunities.You will use your expertise to deliver the optimum service to our clients when managing event operations, maintaining account development plans, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring that business targets and deadlines are met.We are exceptional hosts and independent champions, curating authentic brands that are dreamed up and run with passion. We have a remarkable selection of food and drink experiences, ranging from, Pop-up bars and pop-up local cuisine, to elegant fine dining experiences. Our entertainment options are as exceptional as our dining experiences, and we cater for all tastes and moods.  We offer local theatre, outdoor gigs, jazz clubs, an art gallery, cooking classes, a comedy club, book launches, film nights and water sports, to name but a few. Whether it’s saluting the sun in the morning with riverfront yoga or toasting the night with a magical cocktail we are building a playground for the senses! MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESBuild strong understanding of service offers within Sodexo drawing upon the Centres of Excellence where appropriate support with the business manager the delivery of mobilisations and recommending service solutions for clients. Identify organic growth opportunities through innovation and new initiatives within existing contracts.Seeks new ways to drive revenue and grow accounts, selling new service lines and play key lead role in contract retenders when applicable.Ensure accounts are always performing within the agreed SLAs to meet Sodexo commitments.Take overall responsibility for ensuring that accounts are operated within their contractual terms.Develop a full understanding of the contract in the business area. Ensure that clients receive services delivered within contractual terms and these are delivered in a cost-effective way.Develop strong long term client relationships with multiple clients and agents in line with Clients for Life (CFL) philosophy to enhance the retention of current clients and customers, gain referrals for new business and attract new clients and customers.Develop and retain existing client relationships through monthly meetings and quarterly reviews, using the full CFL process.Monitor KPI reporting, reviewing contents of client meetings and reviewing and delivering action plans. THE IDEAL CANDIDATETo deliver the optimum service to a venue that is like no other, and exceed our client’s vision and expectation, you will already have experience of working in a large venue setting in a comparable role and be recognized as a specialist in the hospitality industry.  You will demonstrate a high level of thought leadership with a track record of delivering successful operations.You will also have:Experience of managing casual teams.Experience of working to tight deadlinesExperience of working with third party contractors / suppliersExperience of budgeting, forecasting and profit and loss managementPresentation skills to present information appropriately at all levels                  Previous event experience               Ability to balance a diverse working schedule            Management of budgets and forecasts         WHAT WE OFFERYou will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary plus access to a range of benefits, including a performance-related bonus, employer pension contribution and life assurance – 1 x annual salary.For more information on all the great benefits Sodexo offer to support you and your loved ones, check out the attached Benefits Guide at the bottom of this advert!
