As an Assembly Operative, you will be immersed in assembling critical components and subassemblies. Your day will involve preparing work by studying detailed assembly instructions and blueprints, gathering necessary parts and tools, positioning parts accurately, and fastening them together. You will ensure top-quality work by verifying specifications and resolving any assembly issues. Your role will also involve maintaining equipment through preventive maintenance, keeping your workspace safe and clean, conserving resources efficiently, and documenting all actions in production and quality forms. Teamwork makes the dream work, and you'll contribute to our collective success by excelling in your tasks.
Hours of Work: Full Time, 37 hours per week.
Assembly Operative Requirements:
* Proven experience in a heavy industry environment
* Proficient in operating a variety of production equipment
* Experience as a mechanical fitter or mechanic is highly advantageous
* Ability to read and interpret intricate engineering drawings
* Capable of working both as part of a team and independently
