Do you have a passion for engineering? Are you looking to work in a dynamic and innovative environment? Do you enjoy solving complex problems? We are currently seeking an exceptional Maintenance Engineer to join our bustling team in the beautiful surroundings of Glengarnock, Scotland!

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical planned preventative maintenance, service, and breakdown repairs on our specialist foundry equipment. This includes handling furnaces, injection moulding presses, and various shotblasting equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, supporting our manufacturing team to hit targets and optimise machine run times. You'll also take ownership of prioritising maintenance requests, supporting plant improvement projects, liaising with contractors, and aiding in the training and development of apprentices, all while upholding safety standards.

Hours of Work: Full Time: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm (39 hours per week)

Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

* Time-served engineer with an electrical bias and robust mechanical maintenance skills.
* Minimum HNC qualification with solid knowledge of 415V electrical systems.
* Proficient in mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repairs.
* Welding/fabrication skills (desirable).
* PAT testing experience/qualification.
