As a Therapy Technician, you will actively work as a member of the multi-professional team at the Luton Intermediate Care Rehabilitation Service.

You will be responsible for a supervised caseload of patients, providing a high quality of care by undergoing rehabilitation in their own homes or in rehabilitation beds, implementing treatment programmes, monitoring progress and ordering equipment.

 

This is a full-time opportunity working 37.5 hours across the week.

Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Therapy Technician you will:


Contribute as part of the Intermediate Care Rehabilitation Team in the provision of rehabilitation for clients in this group
Implement the rehabilitation plans prescribed by qualified members of the team
Record all assessments and intervention given in the agreed Care Pathway
Liaise with other health professionals, Social Services, GPs, hospital staff and other agencies involved in the care of each patient as required

The Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate will have:


An understanding of rehabilitation and have some experience working in health or social care
Knowledge of delivery of care in the community
Experience working with people to develop and support their independence
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
