Shirley Parsons have partnered with a leading consultancy firm at the forefront of Fire, Health & Safety solutions, specialising in residential, commercial, industrial, and retail sectors who are looking for a Principal Consultant to join their established team. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects, mentor consultants, and make a significant impact on client safety and compliance across the UK. This opportunity is best suited to candidates residing in the North of England.

The Principal Consultant will be responsible for:

* Conducting Fire, Health and Safety Risk Assessments primarily in residential sectors across Northern England.
* Providing expert advice and advocacy to clients, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
* Developing emergency and evacuation plans, including tenant-specific strategies.
* Leading and delivering client-specific projects and acting as a competent person.
* Producing retrospective fire strategy reports for diverse accommodation buildings.
* Advising on corporate management, conducting gap analysis, and implementing fire and health & safety management systems.

The Principal Consultant will have:

* Extensive consultancy experience in fire, health & safety across residential, commercial, industrial, and retail sectors.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including BAFE SP205 and Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at client engagement and team leadership.
* Membership of IFSM or IFE, alongside recognised Fire Risk Assessment and health & safety qualifications.
* Self-motivation, initiative-taking, and a proactive approach to achieving targets.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry regulations.
