As our Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining Occupational Health and Safety standards, overseeing production processes and labour deployment and organising workflow to meet customer deadlines. You will ensure adherence to Quality Control standards in line with customer requirements and quality standard ISO9001.
You'll be responsible for planning and communicating raw work requirements, organising equipment repair and maintenance, tracking and reporting KPIs. You will participate in customer meetings and maintain production schedules ensuring on time delivery. Additionally, you will handle stock counts, manage supplier contacts, and present management reports on a monthly basis.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 7.30 am - 4.30 pm, Friday: 7.30 am - 12.30 pm
Production Manager Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Production Manager, preferably within an engineering environment.
* Proven ability to manage a production unit with up to forty-five employees.
* Initiative-taking, with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
* Must reside within a commutable distance to Glengarnock and have the right to work in the UK.
* Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
