What is the job role?

We are recruiting Personal Advisers for the Through Care service. This is an exciting post and you will provide direct support to care leavers. The role involves ensuring that care leavers are supported and achieve positive outcomes with a basis in a family-valued approach and relationship-based practice. 

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?A dedicated practitioner with experience working with children, young people, or adults

Successful candidate will:


Have the ability to manage a caseload of young people with differing levels of complexities and challenges.
Have the ability to independently manage their diary and to prioritise conflicting demands.
Are flexible and tenacious in their approach, also being willing to support colleagues when needed.
Are able to build and maintain relationships with young people, being persistent with difficult to engage young people.
