As a Group Business Compliance Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our compliance framework. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that our group of timber distribution businesses adheres to key regulations such as EU Timber, United Kingdom Timber, and Construction Products regulations. You will maintain ISO9001 certification by overseeing the use of approved processes and procedures. Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with packaging waste regulations and manage certifications from the Forest Stewardship Council and Programme of the Endorsement of Forest certifications. You'll also lead internal and external audits, maintain company procedures, and support our ESG initiatives by building strategic stakeholder relationships.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, no weekends
Group Business Compliance Manager Requirements:
* Multiple years of experience in a comparable or related role, ideally within the timber industry.
* Excellent working knowledge of relevant regulations.
* Proven experience in implementing compliance systems within a commercial environment.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Full driving licence due to required travel to various sites.
