We have an exciting opportunity for an NGS Scientist to join a pioneering clinical and diagnostic genomic solutions leader in the Oxfordshire area. As the NGS Scientist, you will be at the forefront of enhancing our client's research and development initiatives, contributing significantly to the advancement of their NGS capabilities and product range.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the NGS Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Facilitate the launch of innovative products and technologies, working to increase existing efficiencies and expanding current product portfolios.

2. Devise and apply methods to address and solve scientific and technical challenges within the company.

3. Design, execute, and analyse experiments, ensuring the reliability of sequencing data and effective troubleshooting.

4. Document experimental procedures and outcomes, adhering to quality standards, and effectively communicate progress and findings both within R&D and other departments.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the NGS Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. A relevant degree in Life Sciences, ranging from BSc to PhD level, with proven experience in molecular biology assays and NGS.

2. Hands-on expertise in targeted NGS assay workflows and familiarity with various sequencing technologies.

3. Demonstrated industry experience in developing and tech transferring in IVDs under ISO13485.
