Director of Financial Planning & Analysis

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. In this senior leadership role, you will drive best-in-class financial planning and analysis, partnering closely with the CEO and CFO to set the agenda for FP&A and enhance our financial performance.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Developing and overseeing the financial planning process, including long-term forecasting, annual budgets, and rolling forecasts to support effective performance management and decision making.
Providing strategic analyses and recommendations to executive management, including insights on revenue growth, cost reduction opportunities, and capital investment.
Partnering with cross-functional teams, including the finance business partners, to ensure alignment between financial plans and operational strategies
Driving the financial modelling to support decision-making for new initiatives and growth, including capital allocation, ensuring resources are optimally deployed to support business priorities
Leading the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and providing analysis on variances and trends
Developing and implementing a robust FP&A framework.
Maintaining and developing financial models for performance analysis, forecasting and budgeting
Collaborating with senior leadership to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with the company's strategic goals
Improving the efficiency of FP&A processes, including implementing best practices and technology solutions.
Providing leadership and direction to the FP&A team. This includes setting clear goals aligned with company objectives, conducting regular performance reviews, addressing skills gaps and fostering a collaborative culture.

This role is ideal for a candidate who has:

Proven senior FP&A experience with strong operational and commercial awareness.
Expertise in building and transforming FP&A functions.
Experience in assessing and implementing tools, systems, and processes required to deliver alongside a Change & Transformation agenda.
Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
Leadership ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams.
A degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
