THE PIG – and The Village Pub offers guests a classic example of an English country garden that evolves with the seasons including a kitchen garden that will supply the produce found on our 25-mile menu.We are delighted to announce the start of our recruitment for THE PIG – and The Village Pub and are seeking for Waiting Staff to join our hotel restaurant team.The Role:For our Waiting Staff, each day at THE PIG is never the same. Working closely with our kitchen team to deliver a daily changing menu, our Waiting Staff gain inspiration from serving seasonal produce grown within our own kitchen garden and sourced by local suppliers all within a 25mile radius of the hotel.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Take orders and serve food.Providing a detailed service with a relaxed and informal approach.Understanding of dietary requirements.Preparing and clearing of tables, ensuring the restaurant is kept well presented.Excellent communication with both the team and guests, having a caring & considered approach in all that you do.Report to and fulfil additional responsibilities assigned by the Restaurant Manager and/or Assistant Restaurant Manager.Skills & Experience:Previous experience as Waiting Staff in a hotel, restaurant or similar environment is required.
