THE PIG – and The Village Pub offers guests a classic example of an English country garden that evolves with the seasons including a kitchen garden that will supply the produce found on our 25-mile menu.We are delighted to announce the start of our recruitment for THE PIG – and The Village Pub and are seeking for Room Attendants to join our housekeeping team.The Role:Some may say the housekeeping team are the backbone of the hotel operation. For our housekeeping team it is not just about making beds, it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience. As a member of our housekeeping team, you will take responsibility for ensuring that our rooms and public areas are cleaned to the required standard and are ready for our guests. You will have good attention to detail whilst being self-motivated and organised.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Turnaround rooms, ensuring our hotel rooms are ready in time for guests checking in.Change bed linens, re-stock room larders, dust, polish and clean guest rooms and bathrooms.Report any snagging or damage to our Housekeeping Manager and/or Supervisors.Handle housekeeping supplies correctly, considering health and safety best practise.Skills & Experience:Previous experience in a housekeeping role is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. We are seeking for people with a can-do, proactive attitude, thriving from working in a fast-paced and attention to detailed environment.
