We are seeking a friendly and hardworking individual to join our team as a Driver at Wellington College. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation runs smoothly.

What you do:


Responsibility for the timely delivery and collection of food supplies and hardware to various locations within the college grounds
To assist in the preparation of hot and cold beverages for delivery to various locations across site.
To maintain the company van both internally and externally, including completion of van checklists in line with Health and Safety requirements.
To act as banksman when required and in line with Health and Safety and Manual Handling regulations
To manually handle all waste to include recyclable products
To understand and comply with statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards. This includes COSHH and HACCP ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with policy and the law.
To maintain a high standard of dress and personal hygiene.
To attend meetings and training sessions as required.
To report any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, or damage and take action as may be appropriate or possible.
To carry out any reasonable request from any member of the Management team within the general scope and purpose of the job.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
