This is a great opportunity to join our established business as a Financial, Planning & Analysis Manager, based in Harrogate at our head office.You’ll be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and analyses to support decision-making processes across the company. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and reporting, with the goal of improving financial performance and ensuring the company meets its financial objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial models.Work with the divisional and Group finance teams to ensure standardised submission models and data.Work closely with the data team to ensure quality of data within Tableau and other reporting systems, and develop key reports and MIStandardise and automate current processes and financial modelsAnalyse financial results and variances, identifying key trends and drivers.Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.Create and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making.Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.Provide support and adhoc analysis for the Group Finance Director and Executive Committee members What We’re Looking ForQualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA accountantSound modelling and analytical skillsProven IT skills, utilising various systems and reporting platforms.Excel to an advanced level including experience of Power Pivot and TableauExperience of working in complex group or operating structuresExperience of working effectively during periods of organisational changePassionate about driving business change and being able to add valueAmbitious, driven and able to work successfully on own initiativeProven ability to manage deadlines and concurrent challenges effectively What We Can Offer25 days annual leave + bank holidaysCompany pensionPrivate health (for yourself)Free onsite parkingAdditional Holiday Purchase SchemeFree Tool HireLife Assurance cover 3 x SalaryShare Save SchemeLearning & Development OpportunitiesCycle to Work SchemeLong Service RecognitionMy Vp Discounts – discounts and rewards on thousands of well-known brands A Little Bit About UsEstablished in 1954, Vp plc has evolved into a dynamic group of companies with expertise in equipment rental.
