We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Anaplan Model Builder to join our Data & Insight Team team based in Solihull, West Midlands. Flexible/Hybrid working available. 


This exciting role offers the opportunity to take full responsibility for the design, development and future enhancements of the Anaplan model. It is ideal for builders looking to develop their skills in solution architecture. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our planning solutions to meet dynamitic business needs.​​

The key purpose is to design, build and maintain an Anaplan model that supports business planning and decision-making processes, ensuring data accuracy, model efficiency, and alignment with organisational goals

Main ResponsibilitiesMain responsibilities

 

In this role you'll:


Design, develop and test complex Anaplan models based on business requirements ensuring scalability and flexibility and be subject matter expert within Tarmac on Anaplan.​


Work closely with the cross-functional teams, including finance, operations and commercial, to gather requirements and deliver solutions​


integrate data from various sources into Anaplan, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy​


Regularly update and maintain model to reflect changes in the business structures, processes and data​


Provide training to end-users and support them in navigating and utilising the model efficiently​


Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the model, processes and integrations​


Promote and implement Anaplan best practices and standards to ensure model efficiency and performance​


Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies within the model promptly. ​


The Ideal CandidateExperience & qualifications

To be successful in this role you'll need:



Extensive expertise in Anaplan model building including model design, module creation and formula writing​


Demonstrable experience with Microsoft O365 products, particularly advanced Excel ​


Experience with Data Visualisation tools (e.g. UX, PowerBI)​


Developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into an efficient model​


An attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and model integrity ​


Proven financial management experience in an analytical or decision support role​


To be able to distil complex data sets into easy to interpret MI​


An understanding of S&OP, MESS, BOM's​


An Anaplan Certification (e.g. Certified Model Builder, Certified Solution Architect) required​

Experience with other planning and forecasting tools (desirable)​

A Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or computer science, or a related field (desirable)​
