Together we are looking for a Field Service Engineer, to work proactively on plant maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency working both mechanically and electrically on equipment.
The Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary up to �45,000 +overtime & company van, this role offers competitive company benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will:
* As a Field Service Technician, your responsibilities include organizing, planning, and performing both scheduled and reactive maintenance on various electrical and mechanical equipment.
* Diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems, replacing parts as needed to restore equipment to operational status.
* Adjust, optimize, and maintain systems continuously, also providing failure response services.
* Supervise contractors during plant construction and upgrade phases as required.
* Support remote engineers with programming, optimizing, and troubleshooting software/PLC-controlled equipment.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* The candidate must possess electrical qualifications, with at least a current level 3 electrical certification. While the 18th Edition electrical installation qualification is desirable, it is not mandatory.
* An industrial background is preferred, as the role involves extensive mechanical work with pumps, submersible mixers, and other general mechanical equipment.
* Familiarity with anaerobic digestion plants or similar process/plant environments is required.
* Implement measures to enhance plant reliability, efficiency, and performance, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.

* Maintain a flexible approach to work, accommodating overtime, UK travel, and regular overnight stays away from home.
