Business Development Manager (Logistics)
Location: Pontypool, Gwent
Salary: £35k - £40k + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday
The Client:
Our client is a well-established transport & logistics company delivering tailored cargo solutions throughout the UK.
The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will drive growth by engaging clients and promoting new products over the phone.
Duties:
- Conduct new business activities including emails, calls, meetings, and social media engagement.
- Build and develop a pipeline of new clients.
- Deliver quotes and proposals.
- Present logistics solutions to prospective and existing clients.
- Record all opportunities and results in the CRM (HubSpot).
- Attend hospitality events and exhibitions.
Requirements:
- Previously worked as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or in a similar role.
- SaaS and logistics sales experience at the enterprise level.
- Proven track record in securing high-value clients.
- CRM experience and knowledge of UK and European transport and logistics.
- Proficient in IT, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and internal data systems.
