Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Join Get Set UK's Refugee Programme as a Case Manager and support refugees as they integrate into their new communities and find meaningful employment. Working in Luton with occasional travel to Bedford, you'll help individuals overcome barriers, develop personalised support plans, and connect with local services to enhance their journey to a brighter future.
Your impact

Engage and Assess: Meet with refugees, assess their needs, and create personalised action plans to support their journey towards employment.
Caseload Management: Efficiently manage your caseload, regularly updating support plans and ensuring progress.
Community Connection: Help refugees connect with local community organizations and support networks.
Confidentiality and Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with GDPR regulations.
Empowerment and Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to refugees, boosting their confidence and employment skills.
Collaboration: Work with external partners to signpost refugees to additional services such as healthcare and housing.
Support Continuity: Provide ongoing guidance throughout the integration process.

Culturally Competent: High level of cultural awareness and understanding of the complexities of working with refugees.
Languages: Proficiency in a second language such as Amharic, Arabic, Albanian, Bengali, Dari, Farsi, Hindi, Pashto, Spanish, Tigrinya, Urdu, or Yoruba is desirable.
Qualifications: Experience in a support-focused role, ideally with refugees or asylum seekers.
Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and conflict management skills.
Knowledge: Understanding of refugee challenges, safeguarding, and trauma-informed approaches.
Experience: Proven ability to manage caseloads in a target-driven environment with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
