As a Skills Quality Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement across our Skills division, ensuring we meet and exceed internal and external quality standards, particularly with a focus on achieving OFSTED 'Good'. Your leadership will be essential in shaping the future of our learners, staff, and community by delivering excellence in quality assurance, customer service, and teaching practices.
Your impact

Lead Quality Initiatives: Drive performance, quality, and improvement efforts across our Skills division.
Ensure Compliance: Oversee all quality assurance controls, ensuring compliance with awarding bodies and internal policies.
Monitor & Improve Performance: Use data to track performance, identify gaps, and implement improvements in provision.
Curriculum & Teaching Oversight: Collaborate with Contract Managers on curriculum development and ensure teaching meets Ofsted standards.
Support Learners & Staff: Ensure learners receive the support they need to achieve their goals, while also guiding staff development.
Safeguarding: Promote safeguarding principles throughout the business and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.

Strategic Thinker: You use data and analysis to drive performance improvements and innovation.
Experienced Professional: You have a good number of years in the skills sector, with experience managing quality methodologies and leading teams.
Effective Communicator: You excel at conveying expectations, feedback, and improvements to staff and stakeholders.
Knowledgeable in Quality & Compliance: You possess a strong understanding of ESFA and ESF funding rules, Ofsted EIF, and training delivery across various skills programmes.
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification, with DET/Level 5 EAT or equivalent experience, and assessing/IQA qualifications.
