As we grow, we are looking for our next IPS Employment Specialist to join the team.
As an IPS Employment Specialist, you will be instrumental in empowering individuals with health conditions to secure meaningful and sustainable employment. By leveraging the proven Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, you will provide tailored guidance and mentorship, helping clients overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve their vocational goals. This rewarding role involves engaging with clients in the community, job coaching at employer sites, and fostering strong relationships with local businesses and stakeholders.

Your impact:

Support Participants: Guide clients through the entire journey from engagement to in-work support, providing personalised and practical assistance tailored to their employment aspirations.
Job Matching: Forge solid connections with local employers to uncover both visible and hidden job opportunities that align with participant preferences.
Collaborative Networking: Work with community health teams and job centres to develop strong referral networks and a collaborative approach to enhancing participant pathways to employment.
Workplace Advocacy: Advocate for participants in the workplace, supporting them and their employers through the journey to sustained employment, including the return-to-work process.
Team Contribution: Collaborate with the team to deliver service objectives and targets effectively.
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records and compliance through our CRM systems, ensuring service excellence.
Community Engagement: Spend approximately 80% of your time working in the community and 20% working from home, providing flexible and accessible support to clients.

Empathetic and Supportive: Shows a genuine interest in helping people and understanding their unique challenges.
Ambitious and Resourceful: Demonstrates innovation in supporting customers and confidence in a target-driven environment.
Team Player: Collaborates effectively with the team to drive our mission forward.
Experienced: Proven success in customer-facing roles, preferably within the welfare-to-work sector.
Ready to Learn: Open to developing skills as an IPS Employment Specialist.
Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of computers, data entry, and MS Office.
Mobile: Ability to travel across Surrey for face-to-face engagements.
