Introducing the Sodexo Live! academy. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join us and become our Training Academy Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of the new Sodexo Live! academy, a comprehensive learning program designed to uplift the skills and knowledge of all workers across Sodexo Live! You will be responsible for bringing together the L&D subject matter experts across Sodexo Live! by creating a cohesive working group to share best practices.You will quickly gain a full understanding of our clients’ requirements and will design a curriculum that reflects the best practices and latest industry trends. You will ensure all our workers are trained to the optimum standards and all training activity is in line with internal policies and updates in legislation.You will act as an ambassador for Sodexo Live!, promoting its mission of creating an exceptional experience for both workers and customers alike and by meeting the expectation of clients who expect a service that is second to none.This is a fantastic opportunity to be the driving force in establishing the Sodexo Live! academy and you will be the first to hold this position! Be part of something greater.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESTraining Programme Effectiveness – Measure the effectiveness of the training programmes by tracking metrics such as participant satisfaction ratings and on-the-job performance improvements. Training Completion Rates – Monitor the percentage of participants who successfully complete training programmes within the designated timeframe, ensuring high completion rates to maximise ROI on training investments. Addressing Diverse Leaning Needs – Designing inclusive training programmes that cater to diverse learning styles, backgrounds and skills levels while ensuring equal access and opportunities for all participants.Budget Adherence – Evaluate the Training Academy’s financial performance by comparing actual expenses against budgeted allocation, ensuring prudent resource management and cost control. Training Programme Innovation – Access the level of innovation and creativity in training program design and delivery by tracking metrics such as the introduction of new training methodologies, technologies, and learning resources fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability. Feedback and Continuous Improvement – Collect and analyse feedback from participants, stakeholders and internal team members to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality, relevance and impact of training programmes over time.Managing Stakeholder Expectations – Balancing the expectations of senior management, department heads, employees, external partners and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and buy in for training initiatives. Adapting to Industry Changes – Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology advancements and regulatory requirements to continuously update and refine training programmes. THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will have proven experience of working in a L&D role within the hospitality industry and have the ability to analyse and identify the training needs of the business. You must have the creativity to bring training programmes to life by having strong influencing skills when delivering training.Experience of working with diverse populations and designing inclusive training programs that address the needs of individuals from various backgrounds and skills levels is essential.A passion for service excellence is essential, as is your desire and ability to build strong working relationships at all levels within the business.Drawing from your experience in the hospitality industry you will know what good looks like, but you will have the desire and drive to exceed this and deliver excellence.You will also have:Proficiency in using learning management systems and other technology platforms to deliver and track training content.An Excellent standard of literacy and numeracy.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Self-motivation and the ability to work on own initiative within a team environment.Flexibility to travel as needed to oversee training activities at various locations across the UK.WHAT WE OFFERYou will be rewarded with a salary of £60,000 plus access to a range of benefits, including: 15% performance-related bonus£5,000 car allowance£1,300 flexi benefit fundEmployer pension contribution Life assurance – 1 x annual salary.For more information on all the great benefits Sodexo offer to support you and your loved ones, check out the attached Benefits Guide at the bottom of this advert!We’re a Disability Confident Leader employer. We’re committed to changing attitudes towards disability, and making sure disabled people have the chance to fulfil their aspirations. We run a Disability Confident interview scheme for candidates with disabilities who meet the minimum selection criteria for the job.
