Right now we are looking for an Employer Relationship Consultant to join our team. We are looking for candidates who are willing to travel across Burnley.
As an Employer Relationship Consultant, you will be at the forefront of creating opportunities for our job-seeking customers. Your role will involve identifying and securing job placements by building strong relationships with employers. You will use your sales and account management skills to connect businesses with our customers, providing them with the support they need to succeed. By understanding employer needs and aligning them with our customers' skills, you will drive sustainable employment outcomes. Your ability to persuade and negotiate will be key in opening doors and creating pathways to employment for those we support.
Your impact:

Proactive Outreach: Engage in proactive outreach, cold and warm calling employers to secure interviews for our participants.
Sector Expertise: Understand various sectors, especially those offering entry-level employment, such as retail and hospitality.
Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs analysis and build strong connections between candidates and employers.
Employer Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with employers through consistent communication, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
Business Development: Actively source employers through leads and cold calling, driving commercial growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with Employment Advisors to promote current vacancies and upcoming opportunities.
In-Work Support: Conduct regular in-work support calls with employers, tracking participants' progress in the workplace.
Disability Confident: Inspire employers to achieve the 'Disability Confident' award, supporting them on their journey to Level 1.
Awareness: Raise awareness among employers about our vision of equal opportunities and values.
Customer Recruitment Journey: Inspire customers into employment within our employer network, creating a precise and empowering recruitment journey.
Workshops: Hold employer-led workshops for our customers to prepare them for interviews.
Feedback: Provide quality feedback to customers, helping them grow and prepare for the work environment.
Interview Support: Be present at interviews to support customers in their recruitment journey.
Employment Retention: Secure evidence of employment retention at both 13 and 26 weeks from the employer.
Customer Success: Offer support and foster sustainability in employment through best practices and overcoming barriers.
Networking: Boost our vision and strategy through networking and promotion at stakeholders' events, including Job Centres and Local Authorities.
Market Intelligence: Maintain effective market intelligence through affiliation with network groups.

Experienced: Previous experience in a recruitment or employment advisory or similar roles, preferably within the welfare-to-work sector.

Technology: Proficient with data management systems and modern communication tools, including MS Office.
