We currently have an opportunity for a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our branch located in Sunderland, SR5 2BX. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic person to join our friendly team. This is a permanent full-time role working 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

What will you be doing?
As our Delivery driver/Warehouse Operative you are the face of BPX for some of our customers carrying out multi-drop deliveries in the region. When not delivering you will be working in the warehouse dealing with incoming deliveries and outgoing order picking. We are a forward thinking company so if you have a desire for progression, there are plenty of opportunities for you to do so.
The main duties will include:
* Delivering multi-drop orders to our customers using our company van
* Processing and preparing orders, ready for delivery
* Using our route optimisation software (eLogii) to plan delivery routes and confirm proof of delivery
* Attending customer's premises to replenish stock under a Kanban agreement
* Ensuring the van is kept roadworthy by reporting any accidents or repairs
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
To join our team we are looking for a person who:
* Has experience of multi-drop deliveries
* Is confident using computers as part of their day to day work
* Has an outgoing, positive and professional attitude
* Has good day to day planning capabilities, this will be essential for the candidate to be successful in this role
* Is able to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments
* Is conscientious with good attention to detail
* Is polite, trustworthy and reliable at all times
* Full clean UK driving licence preferred
