We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chef Manager to join our team and help us deliver high-quality meals that meet the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our residents.Role Overview:As our Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all meals are nutritious, well-balanced, and prepared to the highest standards. You will lead a team of kitchen staff, manage budgets, plan menus, and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. This role is ideal for a chef who is not only skilled in the kitchen but also understands the importance of creating meals that contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.Key Responsibilities:Menu Planning: Design and implement varied, seasonal menus that cater to the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents, including those with specific dietary requirements (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, vegetarian).Food Preparation: Ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards, using fresh, high-quality ingredients, and presented in an appealing manner.Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.Budget Management: Manage the kitchen budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high-quality standards.Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to food hygiene, allergen management, and health and safety regulations.
