As the Head of Business Improvement and Growth Support (BIGS) at Sodexo, you are a strategic leader and an enabler of change. Your role is pivotal in driving competitive advantage, enhancing profitability, and managing risks across the UK&I Region through robust business improvement processes. You will lead the deployment and regionalisation of key processes including Solution & Contract Design, Solution Mobilisation, Contract Management & Operational Excellence, and Labour Optimisation.  As the Head of BIGS, you will have the opportunity to lead high-impact projects, engage with key stakeholders, and make a tangible difference to our business and clients. You’ll be instrumental in setting the standards for excellence, driving process improvements, and ensuring Sodexo remains competitive in a dynamic market. If you’re passionate about operational excellence, strategic leadership, and making a difference, this is the role for you. About the roleLead the execution of BIGS responsibilities across the UK&I, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and continuous improvement of processes.Manage the deployment of key business improvement processes including Solution & Contract Design, Solution Mobilisation, and Contract Management & Operational Excellence.Oversee Loss Making Contracts Recovery and Labour Optimisation, applying your expertise to drive profitability improvements.Engage with sales, operations, and growth stakeholders to ensure BIGS processes are integral to new business opportunities and contract renewals.Lead a direct team and support an indirect team, fostering collaboration across segments to enhance business capabilities.Develop and deliver training programmes, empowering operational teams and ensuring consistent application of BIGS processes.Drive compliance with BIGS frameworks, ensuring that processes and tools are effectively utilised, measured, and continuously improved. About youTo be successful in this role, you will possess extensive experience in process design, management, and improvement, with a strong background in Lean/Six Sigma environments. A proven track record in project management is essential, supported by sharp analytical skills and the ability to synthesise data to drive key business outcomes. Accreditations in Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence, along with advanced proficiency in Excel and project management tools, are advantageous for success in this role. You will have hands-on experience in mobilising operational units, particularly in food services and facilities management, covering areas such as cleaning, gardening, engineering, and maintenance.
