Quality Engineer
Location: Huddersfield
Rate: �400 per shift - PAYE / Umbrella
Contract Length : 6 months rolling
Role Responsibilities may include:
* Develop, maintain and communicate quality policies, system and procedures
* Monitor the effectiveness of quality procedures
* Inspect quality on site
* Own the Integrated Management System jointly with Group Health, Safety & Environmental Manager
* Research quality developments and trends
* Write daily diaries
* Analyse relevant issues and their impact on the business
* Determine how to modify procedures to meet future quality needs
* Produce monthly reports to illustrate company and department performance
* Assess and analyse the present budget requirements
* Develop a plan for audits, inspections and assessments in line with company and legislative requirements
* Prepare H&S Files
Required Experience:
* Proven experieince in quality assurance within construction or civil engineering projects.
* Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools and methodologies
* Proficiency in relevant quality software and tools.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
