cardfactory are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Application Services & Test Analyst to join our growing IT team with a focus on Supply Chain and Business Development. This is dual role providing both applications support and test capability in core business applications across cardfactory.  The role sits within the functional squad which manages a diverse range of technologies in the Supply chain/Business development arena.  The individual will Investigate and resolve complex application related incidents and problems, working alongside other IT Teams. Implement functional application changes and releases aligned to the application roadmap and in accordance to agreed processes, ensuring availability, capacity, performance and security levels are maintained.  Advise and educate the business on best practise use of the applications.   Additionally, the individual will take responsibility to identify and define required tests, monitoring the test coverage, and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the Target Test Items. This role also involves specifying the required Test Data and evaluating the outcome of the testing conducted in each test cycle.  Based at Junction 41 in Wakefield, with free parking and a flexible, hybrid way of working, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in our team. Colleagues are required to work in the office for a minimum of 1-2 days per week, with the expectation of additional attendance when needed. Provide technical knowledge for both project and BAU Incidents.   Provide 2nd/3rd line support for key business applications across the Card Factory Group  Identify better operational working practises and contribute to and uphold best practice.   Undertake technical problem management and root cause analysis.   Ensure that all key systems are operational and where identified provide resolution or guidance to colleagues which drives the resolution of issues.   Identify and suggest operational improvements.   Support the delivery of key projects, collaborating with other colleagues and support partners as required.   Provide technical expertise to other IT teams.   Exposure to ERP Systems (SAP S4/HANA, Microsoft Dynamics AX) and Data Transformation Platforms (Dell Boomi, SSIS, EDI). Experience with Ecommerce Platforms (Sales Force Commerce Cloud). Proficiency in Reporting Technologies (SSRS, Power BI). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Highly organized, able to plan and implement technical changes and multiple tasks concurrently. Good technical documentation skills. Adaptable to meet changing business needs. Ability to discuss complex technical issues with non-technical audiences. Experience in system testing standards and procedures for all testing cycles. Good communication skills and experience working with a wide range of stakeholders.
